How to Install wget command on Fedora server

1. Log into your Fedora Server as ‘root’ user

2. You can install wget using dnf (Dandified YUM)

Run the below command to install wget :

# dnf install wget

OR

# sudo dnf install wget

3. Enter y and hit enter if installation asks for confirmation

Is this ok [y/N]: y
 

Alternate way to Install wget package

1. Log into your Fedora Server as ‘root’ user

2. Download wget rpm file from the website ‘rpmfind.net’ and upload the file to your fedora server using FTP.

3. Install rpm package using rpmcommand

How to uninstall wget command

1. Log into your Fedora Server as ‘root’ user

2. Run the below command to uninstall wget

# dnf remove wget

OR

#sudo dnf remove wget
