How to Install PivotX free Blogging CMS Software

PivotX is a free blogging software written in PHP and it uses mySQL or flat file as database.

Minimum requirement before installing PivotX CMS : There should be minimum 7.47 MB of disk space in your cPanel account to install this blog software. Also you must have cPanel access to install this free blogging software.
Pivotx support forum is active and you can post in the pivotx forum (forum.pivotx.net) is you need any assistance.

1. Log in to cPanel of your website

Enter cPanel username and password to access cPanel.

2. Click on ‘Softaculous Apps installer’ under ‘Software’ section
 

 
3. Search for ‘PivotX’ in Softaculous Search Bar like shown in picture below
 

 
4. Click on ‘Install Now’ under ‘Overview’ tab
 

 
Choose Protocol : Choose whether you want to use http:// or https:// or http://www. for your PivotX Blog

Choose Domain : Select the domain in which you want to install PivotX Blog software. Click on dropdown to select the domain.

In Directory : Enter the directory in which you wish to install PivotX Blog. If you enter a directory name blog will be installed in that sub directory.
 

 
Enter the site name in the site name box. Enter the admin username, admin password and admin email of your PivotX Blog. Click on ‘Install’ after selecting the language.
 

 
It will take few minutes to install PivotX Blog and do not refresh the installation page.

You will see ‘Congratulations, the software was installed successfully’ after PivotX is installed.
 

 
You can post in pivotx forum if you get any error while installing this software.
